Departure Day Cleaning for Mallatupa Hostel Room
The accommodation price at Majatalo Haltinmaa does not include departure day cleaning. You may clean the hostel room yourself according to the cleaning instructions available in the guest information folder.
If you prefer a more leisurely departure, you can book our cleaning service to assist you.

Stays of 1–3 nights: €30
Stays of 4–7 nights: €50
What Does the Departure DayCleaning Service Include?
The cleaning service is intended for guests who wish to make their departure day easier while still taking care of normal housekeeping during their stay and before check-out.
We kindly ask you to maintain normal cleanliness in your room and in the common areas during your stay and complete the simple departure procedures listed below.
Please note that if the hostel room is left in an exceptionally untidy condition, we reserve the right to charge additional cleaning fees. Extra cleaning is charged according to the amount of work required, starting from €50–€100 per hour.
What You Need to Do Before Departure
Please complete the following tasks by 12:00 noon on your departure day:
Return furniture and other items to their original places
Collect bottles and cans into a bag and leave them by the entrance or take them to recycling
If you rented bed linen from us, leave the used linen neatly folded on the bed
Remove all visible trash and stains from surfaces and the floor
Take all personal food items and groceries with you
Take out all trash to the outdoor garbage bins
Wash the dishes and place them in the cupboard
What Our Housekeeping Team Will Do
After your departure, our housekeeping team will carry out a thorough final cleaning of the accommodation for the next guests. The service includes:
airing carpets and bed covers
wiping surfaces
cleaning wash basins, toilet facilities and shower areas
vacuuming and mopping the floors
