Please note that the departure day cleaning of the cottage is not included in the cost of accommodations costs at Guesthouse Haltinmaa.

If you wish to spend your departure day in a leisurely manner, you can book our housekeeping service at a supplemental cost in Product Options when you book accommodations. You have a choice of basic cleaning service or final cleaning. service.

You can also take care the departure day cleaning of the cottage on your own provided you do it according to our instructions below.

Cleaning instructions for guests who wish to take care of the final cleaning on their own

Please take care of the following cleaning procedures by 12h00 noon on your departure day

  • Air and shake the bed clothing and carpets outdoors

  • Arrange all furniture and other items back in their original positions

  • Collect all bottles and cans and place them in a plastic bag outside the front door - or take them with you to be recycled

  • If you booked our linen service, strip the beds of sheets and pillow cases and leave the bed linen in a neat pile on the bed

  • Take away all the groceries and other items you brought with you

  • Take out the trash to the garbage bin outdoors

  • Sweep the trash, vacuum and mop all floors

  • Remove all stains from coffee maker, hot water kettle, microwave oven, refrigerator and trash containers

  • Wash the dishes and arrange the items back in the cupboard

  • Wash the shower, wash basins and toilet bowl. If you booked an accommodations unit with private sauna, wash the sauna, too.

  • Wipe down the surfaces in each room: tables, kitchen counter, stove.

We regret but if we find your accommodations in an unacceptable condition at your departure, we will charge you for cleaning service at the hourly rate of € 50 - € 100, depending on the procedures we need to take and based on the time that needs to be spent to get the accommodations unit ready for the next guests.
